This small Japanese single-sided Dozuki saw from Okada offers very good cutting performance in wet and dry wood. Dozuki saws have extremely thin saw blades and are ideally suited for finer sawing work. Such as when making precise cuts, for example for a frame or a dovetail connection. Dozuki means "joined trunk", which means that the saw blade is reinforced at the back. This reinforcement makes the saw more stable. The disadvantage of this back strip is the limitation of the cutting depth. It will not be a problem for making precise cuts in wood that is not too thick. The back reinforcement ensures that the extremely thin saw blade (>0.30 mm) is supported. Due to the back reinforcement, the cutting depth is limited to the height of the saw blade. The 'raked teeth' prevent jamming and reduction of cutting force. Perfect to use as a saw for finer work.
