Masakage

Knives Masakage designed by the master grinder of Hiroshima; Takayuki Shibata and are hand forged by master blacksmiths Katsushige Anryu (1942) and Hiroshi Kato (1946) (pictured) both from the famous cutlery village Takefu (Fukui prefecture). Both have over 50 years experience in forging knives. Each knife is hand finished by Shibata-san. The craftsmanship and the very high standard of finish make Masakage an absolute premium brand. Due to the high global demand we can only provide limited amounts of knives. Knives that we do not have in stock, might have a long lead time.
