NiNJA Seki gift set

This set of Japanese knives has everything you need. The knives are made of Japanese rust-resistant steel and are the result of a Kickstarter project in 2020. These blades are sustainably produced, and NiNJA participates in the TFT program to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Every time one NiNJA knife is delivered, we can provide five meals for children in countries experiencing hunger or economic hardship.

The double-sided blade is very thin and hand-sharpened without any thickening, making sharpening very easy.

This chrome-molybdenum steel, coated with titanium oxide, offers excellent durability and cutting quality and is easy to maintain. Because it is coated with titanium oxide, it prevents wear from friction and stays sharp for a long time. It requires less sharpening, thus improving maintenance performance. Each knife is handcrafted by skilled artisans.

  • Steel type: Core steel: Japanese Chrome-Molybdenum Vanadium steel (stainless) with black titanium coating
  • Hardness: 59-60 (Rockwell C)
  • Handle: Western-style black PP plastic handle
  • MADE IN JAPAN

Like all Japanese knives, Ninja's handmade knives are not dishwasher safe. Cleaning and drying after each use is the best way to care for these exclusive products.

Kickstarter

Fine Craft Co., Ltd., headquartered in Japan, launched a reasonably priced, high-quality kitchen knife called "NiNJA" on the crowdfunding website Kickstarter on May 29, 2020.

The concept of NiNJA is "Make functional knives stylish." NiNJA originated in Seki City, a true knife capital in Gifu Prefecture, Japan (also known for knives by Kai Shun, Global, and MCUSTA). Seki kitchen knives are renowned in Japan and the rest of the world for their excellent sharpness. The design of conventional kitchen knives has remained unchanged for years. NiNJA, however, maintains the same sharpness as traditional Seki knives because the craftsmen carefully sharpen the blades one by one by hand.

Since it is a natural trend for product design to change over time, such as in homes, cars, and fashion, NiNJA was born as a stylish knife. NiNJA has retained its outstanding design appeal but has added a new value of sustainability through the Table for Two (TFT) program.

To make conventional high-quality kitchen knives more accessible to consumers, we have also adopted the SPA method, which allows us to reduce the distribution margin of intermediaries by making EC sales the primary sales method and supplying high-quality NiNJA knives to consumers at a reasonable price.

NiNJA is made of Japanese molybdenum-vanadium steel, heat-treated under vacuum, and the blades are meticulously sharpened individually to achieve excellent sharpness. Furthermore, the blades are titanium-coated for enhanced durability.
