The original Motosuke Nagao MINI Higonokami,
This Japanese Higonokami knife has a core of Japanese Aogami #1 "Blue paper" carbon steel (non-stainless). This double-sided sharpened knife is completely hand-forged by the only master blacksmith who is allowed to make Higonokami knives (Motosuke Nagao). The blade is sturdy and manually sharpened and is very easy to sharpen yourself. This is the original variant with a brass handle and Aogami steel blade (Sanmai forged) but in the Mini version.
This knife can be ordered in 3 different color of carry cases, you can select the right color during your ordering process. Please note that the stated length is measured including the Chikiri (lever), the cutting length of the blade with a 100mm Higonokami is approximately 75mm. This was measured according to the traditional Japanese method.
