Takeshi Saji Rainbow Damascus,

Blade of non-stainless Japanese Aogami # 2 steel surrounded by two layers of damacus steel with copper and brass. This knife is completely hand-forged by the famous master blacksmith Takeshi Saji (1949). Saji-san is best known for its hunting knives and these kitchen knives are made in the same style. The finish is very high and the handle is made of ironwood. These knives are very special collectibles made by a world famous master smith. These knives are perhaps the most beautiful knives in the world. The knives come in a handmade Japanese wooden box made from Kiri (Paulownia) wood.

A nakiri is a double-sided sharpened knife that is intended for embossing (chopping) vegetables and fruit.
