Traditioneel Carbon damascus steel.
Hand-forged damascus steel with a "wave" pattern. Each piece is unique! The piece is made of VG-10 as core steel and a softer non-rust resistant layer on the outside which is pattern violence (damascus steel). Rockwell hardness of 58-59. Note that this is the wave pattern on the first 3 photos. the other photographs serve as inspiration.

The steel is delivered 'black' and uncut, with forged skin. The steel is already hardened! grinding can only be done on water stones.
