Sharpening on Japanese whetstones - Traditional single sided sharpened knives -
If you want to have your precious Japanese knife sharpened in the traditional way, we can arrange this for you. This service is only intended for the repair of severely damaged single sided sharpened Japanese knives such as Usuba, Yanagiba and Deba knives. Think of repairing a broken point, deep chips, curved blade, re-aligning or applying a new geometry.
Your blades are sharpened on a rising series of whetstones (6 steps) starting with #400 grit and ending with a #16000 grit stone (Japanese grit).
We only work with real Japanese whetstones and we are trained by Japanese sharpeners.
If you want the knife returned then there will be 6.95 euros shipping costs (for shipping within the Netherlands), for this you need to checkout the correct shipping method select. You can also pick up the grinding work in Hoevelaken.
