Motosuke Nagao Higonokami mini with bell and Emperor ring,
This Japanese Higonokami knife has a core of Japanese Aogami # 1 "Blue paper" carbon steel (non-stainless). This double-sided sharpened knife is completely forged by hand by the only master smith who is allowed to make Higonokami knives (Motosuke Nagao). The small blade is sturdy and manually sharpened and is very easy to sharpen yourself. This is the original version with a brass handle and Aogami steel blade (Sanmai forged).
Note that the stated length has been measured incl. The Chikiri (lever). This is measured according to the traditional Japanese method.
