Masakage Mizu Petty (officeknife), 120 mm
Masakage Mizu Petty
This Japanese petty knife features a core of non-stainless Japanese Aogami #2 (Blue Paper Steel). The blade is double-bevelled and finished with a distinctive black Kurouchi coating that creates a subtle, water-like sheen, giving the knife its name Mizu, which means “water” in Japanese.
Each knife is entirely hand-forged by master blacksmith Takumi Ikeda, making every piece unique. The blade is exceptionally thin and hand-ground, without thick shoulders behind the edge, allowing for excellent cutting performance and making sharpening remarkably easy.
