Kurosaki Fujin SG2 santoku (universal knife), 170 mm
Kurosaki Fujin SG2 Santoku
This Japanese santoku knife has a core of semi-rust-resistant Japanese SG2 steel with an outer layer of rust-resistant steel. SG2 steel is a commonly used type of steel in Japanese kitchen knives. The steel is characterized by high hardness and high toughness without being brittle. This steel is perfect for regular use in the kitchen and is easy to sharpen. This double-sided sharpened knife has a very beautiful hammertone pattern. This knife is completely hand-forged by master blacksmith Yu Kurosaki and is unique in its kind. The blade is very thin and manually sharpened and has no thickenings, making sharpening very easy.
