Fukushima 暗い Kurai Kuroichi, Gyuto (Chef's Knife) 210 mm
This Japanese chef's knife has a core of Japanese Aogami #2 steel (non-rust-resistant steel) with a protective layer (Sanmai) and black Kuroishi forged layer on the outside. This double-sided sharpened knife is completely hand-forged by the master blacksmith Fukushima-san from the Kumamoto Prefecture in Japan (Kyushu Island). The blade is very thin and manually sharpened and has no thickenings, which makes sharpening very easy.
