Miki M100 Shogun series: Nakiri

This Japanese vegetable knife is made from Japanese Molybdenum / Vanadium carbon steel (non-stainless). This double-sided sharpened knife has been sharpened manually and has no thickening which makes grinding very easy. A nakiri knife is a typical Japanese knife that is often used by people with smaller hands, due to its shape and very low weight, this knife is ideal for cutting meat and fish, but also for embossing vegetables and herbs.

  • Blade length: 165 mm
  • Total length: 295 mm
  • Weight: 119 grams
  • Blade thickness: 1.5 mm
  • Steel type: Japanese Molybdenum / Vanadium steel
  • Hardness: 58-59 (Rockwell C)
  • Handle: Western handle of black Pakka wood (multilayer hardwood with a resin for extra moisture and temperature resistance)

Like all Japanese knives, the Miki Hamono knives are not dishwasher safe, cleaning and drying after each use is the best treatment for these exclusive products.
