Baishinshi Kunimitsu Syukou kogatana + saya

This Japanese knife is perfect for woodworking and as Jinmes for grafting Bonsai. The blades are razor-sharp and made from traditional Japanese steel. This type of knife is widely used in Japan by furniture makers. This knife has a core of Japanese Shirogami # 2 White paper carbon steel. Equipped with a layer of softer iron for protection (Sanmai forged), This knife is sharpened on one side so that this knife has an even finer cut. This knife is manually forged and sharpened in the small Baishinshi forge (梅心子 國 光) in Sanjo. This family has been forging Japanese knives and tools for over 250 years, the current blacksmith is Umeda Kunimitsu (7th generation)
