Saya for Santoku <165 mm
Protect yourself and your precious knife from damage, a simple wooden cover is the solution. these Magnolia wooden sleeves (Saya`s) are manually produced in Japan from the traditional Japanese "whitebark Magnolia". This saya is equipped with an ebony pin so that the knife is held in place.
We do not guarantee that every knife will fit perfectly. In principle, these covers are only suitable for Japanese knives, your German and French knives will most likely not fit due to the different geometry and thickness of the blade.
To be sure, you can measure your knife (length and thickness) so that we can determine whether the knife will fit or not.
The sizes of these saya are:
- Maximum blade thickness: 4.3 mm (measured on the back and at the handle)
- Blade length: 165 mm
- Blade height: 48 mm (measured at handle)
These sayas have a beautiful laser engraving with Japanese characters and the Zanmai brand and are also suitable for a number of other Japanese Santoku knives.
