Instructions for Using Wooden Chopsticks
Wooden chopsticks should not be boiled in hot water and should not be cleaned with a steel wool brush.
Step 1: Soak the chopsticks in room-temperature salt water for 5 minutes (for disinfection).
Step 2: Remove the chopsticks from the salt water and let them air dry naturally until completely dry.
Step 3: Gently apply a thin layer of oil over the entire surface (sunflower oil or grapeseed oil is recommended), then leave them to air dry for at least 12 hours.
After 12 hours, the chopsticks will have fully absorbed the oil, giving them a shiny surface and a very smooth texture. Even during regular use, it is not recommended to boil them in hot water, as this will cause the absorbed oil to be released.
