These Japanese-made Shimomura knives have a very good price/quality ratio. The blade of this knife is made of semi-rust-resistant Japanese Molybdenum Vanadium steel and is equipped with a forged stainless steel bolster and a handle made of black pakka wood. This heavy and thick knife is ideal for boning and preparing meat and fish. The knife is sharpened on one side and is therefore only suitable for right-handed use.
