CUSTOM Tosa Matsunaga Suminagashi Aogami, damascus santoku
SKU: JDA-093CUSTOM Tosa Matsunaga Suminagashi Aogami, damascus santoku
Hand-forged blade with a core of non-stainless Aogami steel with 2 softer Damascus layers on the outside (Suminagashi forged), non-rust resistant. Blade is natural and sustainably etched with coffee acid with a beautiful Wabi Sabi finish. No chemicals were used. The etching provides a beautiful but not too striking gray finish (patina) on the blade that immediately provides protection (forced patina).
The handle is octagonal and therefore suitable for right and left-handed use.
