Seikaku 中国語 Chūgokugo petty/steak knife blade
Blade with a core of VG-10 steel with a rust-resistant outer layer. This blade is sharpened and hardened. The knife has a beautiful Suminagashi (damascus) protective layer.

The Nakago of this knife and the back and inside of the blade have not yet been polished. In addition, it is sometimes necessary to align the stinger a bit so that the knife goes straight into the handle (this can easily be done by placing the stinger in a square lath of eg 3x3cm with a saw cut and bending it carefully).
