Forged damascus steel with a "random" pattern. Each piece is unique! The piece is made of VG-10 as core steel and a softer rust-resistant layer on the outside which is patterned (damascus steel). Rockwell hardness of 60-61.

The steel is supplied raw and unground, without forging skin. The steel is already hardened! sharpening is therefore only possible on water stones or the steel can be tempered again by heating it to 800 degrees and allowing it to cool in air (or rather in ash or wood chips). after processing, the steel can be hardened again. It is recommended not to repeat this process too often as undesirable processes can occur in the crystal structure of the steel.
