Ipé wood holder for Japanese water stones -B Choice-
Note: B choice, these planks unfortunately have some cracks in the wood. They are fully functional.
Ipé holder, made in our own workshop, for manually sharpening Japanese kitchen knives.
The wooden frames are specifically made for our plastic containers. The frames are made of very durable and moisture resistant Ipé wood and are glued with water resistant glue.
Ipé wood is also called Bethabara or Groenhart (Suriname)
Tabebuia serratifolia (Vahl) Nicholson (Surinamese green heart) (= Tecoma spec. Div.)., Tabebuia ipé (Mart.) Standl., T. cassinioides DC., T. guayacan Hemsl., T. longiflora Standl.
