Magnetic Knife block for 4-8 knives - Walnut Deluxe - (size XL)
Luxury walnut knife block made in our own workshop on which you can store the knives safely and conveniently. Thanks to the strong magnets which are incorporated in the wood, you can store up to 4 knives (with the magnets on 1 side) or 8 with the magnets on both sides. Because the blades remain in sight, you have an immediate view of the blade types and you never miss out.
This luxury block also serves as a display, so you can also use this block to display your knife collection in a beautiful and safe way.
- Dimensions: h x w x d = 315 x 300 x 65 mm (excluding base plate), the base plate is 100 mm deep
- Material: solid steamed walnut (Thanks to the thermal modification, the effect of the wood is much less, it gets a nice warm color and the weight is lower)
- The shelf can be fitted with magnets on 1 or 2 sides, you can specify this during the order.
- The magnets used have no negative effects on your expensive knives (stainless or carbon, damascus or sanmai forged)
- At the top of this block a hole is made that is suitable for our ceramic sharpening rod SKS24.
- Because wood is a natural product, the wood differ from each other. The colors and drawing in the wood varies per block supplied.
- The block is delivered without the knives shown.
- Wood contains tannic acid which can have an effect on non-stainless steel knives, you must treat the wood with wood oil or paint it with a special wood paint (varnish or clear stain) if you want to keep your non-stainless knives on this shelf.
- It is possible to have the block provided with a Tung oil layer, this oil is very suitable for wood and will greatly extend its lifespan.
- NOTE: Applying curing of this special oil takes time and will extend the delivery time by at least 7 days!
- Because we produce these planks in-house, we can adapt them to your wishes at an additional cost.
- All planks are handmade and have a delivery time of 1-2 weeks.
