This handmade handle of Japanese "Rosewood" wood (Dalbergia oliveri) is equipped with a black Pakka wooden bolster. Rosewood is also called Pallisander in Dutch. Rosewood is a noble heavy dark wood with a very fine structure. This wood is also used in luxury products such as pens, guitars, chess pieces, etc.
