Use

Zebrano wood thanks its name to its characteristics stripes pattern reminiscent of the stripes of a zebra. The stripes are particularly visible in quarters and false quarters of sawn wood. Because zebrano wood is a tropical wood species where it is suitable for outdoor applications. Think for example of doors, windows and frames.

Except for the construction, this type of wood is also used by wood turners to make the most beautiful shapes and figures. The most common application is the use of veneer. Quartered cut veneer is very common.

How to treat Zebrano wood

By treating zebrano wood with oil the wood gets a deep and warm color with the dark and lighter tones nicely reflected.
