Micarta knife handle scales - orange yellow-
With this special material it is possible to manufacture a handle as desired. This is a set of 2 shell parts of 125x38x8 mm each.
This material can also be used as a head / bolster or as a spacer.
Micarta is pressed linen which is impregnated under pressure with an Epoxy resin, making it strong and easy to machine. Micarta is a practical and impact-resistant material that is easy to machine (saw, drill, file, mill and turn) and to glue with, for example, 2 component glue.
Due to the synthetic composition, we strongly recommend wearing respiratory protection when working. Sawing, filing and sanding can release phenols that can pose a health hazard.
