Wooden Masu Cup (traditional Sake cup)
Traditional Masu cup.
These traditional cups are used to drink sake. Made in Japan from real Honoki wood, beautifully finished and with a special scent.
size: 85x85x52mm
The cup must be filled to the brim and should be drunk from the corner. It is traditionally not neat to pour your cup yourself, this has to be done by the host if your cup is empty. If the cup of the host is empty then it is neat to offer to top it.
Of course, these cups can not be washed in the dishwasher, hand rinse and let dry in the air is enough.
