Miki M705 Funayuki (universal knife/fish knife), 165 mm
Miki M705 Funayuki, 165 mm,
This Japanese knife has a blade made of Japanese VG-1 carbon steel (stainless). This single-sided sharpened knife is completely hand-forged by Miki Hamono's forge and is unique in its kind. A Funayuki knife is a typical Japanese knife and can be used to cut meat, fish and vegetables. In the Japanese kitchen, a Funayuki often serves as a universal knife. This knife is a lot thicker than a double-sided sharpened knife but is a lot thinner than a traditional Deba.
